Work in Progress
This character is part of an ongoing fan project created in collaboration with Mellie Manzanares.
She's still very much a work in progress, but I enjoy sharing projects before they're finished to document the process, receive feedback, and showcase the different stages of development. There is still plenty of work ahead, and the character will continue to evolve as the project progresses.
For this project, I am responsible for the character creation pipeline, including sculpting, retopology, texturing, hair card creation, rigging, and facial blendshapes. One of the biggest milestones for me was creating my first complete set of facial blendshapes, which taught me a great deal about facial expressions, deformation, and character production workflows.
The Unreal Engine setup, gameplay systems, and technical implementation are handled by Mellie Manzanares. Together, we're bringing the character to life while continuing to refine both the artistic and technical aspects of the project.
There is still a significant amount of work planned, particularly regarding simulations, materials, and final presentation. Seeing the character evolve from a sculpt into a fully functional real-time character has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding.
